Angelo Bayetis, 64, of Kerhonkson, passed away on December 5, 2025 in Kingston with his sister and niece by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 7, 1961 to Elena and James Bayetis. After graduating from John Adams High School, he traveled to Las Vegas and trained race horses for several years, and also worked as a roofer. He returned to New York and began building custom furniture locally at A&G for many years, and finally to FTS in Stone Ridge until his retirement.
Angelo met the love of his life, Debra, at the age of 17. They dated for many years, resided together, and decided to marry. Deb passed away in 2020 leaving him heart broken. In addition to his wife, Angelo is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Eleanor Bayetis; and his beloved dog, Autumn. He leaves behind his sister, Toni and son, James Bayetis; brother, Gregory Bayetis, Sr.; niece, Stacey (Joseph) Brennen and their children; and nephew, Gregory Bayetis, Jr. and his children.
Angelo loved spending time with his nephew, James, watching movies, taking road trips listening to Ozzy on the radio, and taking trips to Taco Bell. Angelo had a wonderful relationship with Jimmy aka "Fool", as was their greeting for one another. He loved to tease Jimmy! He also had a strong love for his Harley Davidson and loved golf.
Angelo will be greatly missed by many, especially his sister, Toni, with whom he had a strong bond and always walked by his side since childhood.
