Angelo DiLauro
Angelo DiLauro of Accord, NY, died on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was 65 years old. Angelo was born on November 22, 1949 in Nusco, Italy and was the son of the late Antonio and Felicina (Gaudiello) DiLauro.
Angelo proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War where he earned Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medals and retired honorably in 1971. He was an avid outdoorsman. Angelo loved hunting, nature and woodworking and was a dedicated NRA supporter. Nothing was dearer to him than his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Angelo is survived by Lillie Magnowski DiLauro, his loving wife of 42 years. His children; Christina Marie DiLauro Abaya and her husband Araby of Los Angeles, CA, Andrea DiLauro Levene and her husband Jeffrey of Dover, NJ, and Anthony Vincent DiLauro and his wife Jessica of Montgomery, NY. Grandchildren; Ava Vale Abaya, Adam Vincent Levene, Dakota Marie DiLauro, Anthony Hunter DiLauro and one baby girl on the way. Also surviving are his brother Amato DiLauro (Doreen) of Astoria, NY and sister Nancy Cascarano (James) of Pine Bush, NY.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 28th from 9-11am at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The Divine Liturgy will follow at 11:30am at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will be in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Hamptonburgh.
