dee bishop - August 8th, 2010 at 4:32pm - Email Dear family of Anita: I'm sorry to hear about Anita's death. Since words can't erase the hurt that this has brought upon all of you, I want to share a few scriptures from the Bible that comfort me when I lose loved ones. John 5:28-29 promises a resurrection, Psalms 37:29 says that we will live forever on this earth and Rev 21:3-4 promises there won't be any more death, sickness or pain. Though it still hurts not to have them here with me, I know that God did not take them away from me and he will reunite us again in the near future when the time is right. I hope that you experience the same comfort that I do from God's promises in His Word, the Bible. Again,I'm sorry about Anita and I hope you are all coping well with your loss. Dee Bishop |

Heather Ballard - August 2nd, 2010 at 10:29pm - Email Words can't even describe the sadness I feel on Aunt Anita's passing. She introduced me to "a really nice guy" -who is now my husband. I was working at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC and helped set her up for the stem cell transplant for her multiple myeloma. She came home Memorial Day 1998 & was dancing at my wedding reception six months later. She fought the cancer 14 years. Through it all she had strength, humor, love, and patience. She will be greatly missed. Heather & Ken Ballard I'm attaching a poem- Come To Me God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you, And whispered "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. |
