Anna Celia Valerio, a beloved resident of Stone Ridge, NY, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the age of 87. Born in the vibrant city of New York on August 15, 1936. Anna was the cherished daughter of the late Fernando Valerio and Ana Maria Gonzalvo Valerio.
In her earlier years, Anna devoted her passion to the art of sewing as a Seamstress. Among her joys in life were moments spent bowling, creating intricate crochet works, trying her luck with scratch off tickets, and relishing trips to Las Vegas.
Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband Terry McCandless and her dear daughter Linda Santana.
She is survived by her devoted sister Altagracia Fontanez, her grandson Michael Oramas, her granddaughter Nicole Reyes, and her great-granddaughter Natalia Reyes. Their lives have been touched by her love and wisdom.
Anna's presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and warmth.
In accordance with Anna's expressed wishes, there will be no formal services to commemorate her life. May she rest in eternal peace as her spirit ascends to watch over those she held dear.Guestbook
