Antoinette Grace Forney

Antoinette "Toni" Forney of Glens Falls went into the arms of the Lord on November 18th 2017. She was 65 years young, born on January 8th 1952. She was the daughter of Dominic Columbetti and Esther Reynolds. She had married the love of her life Peter Forney in 1990 and sadly became a widow in 1995. My Mother had worked hard her whole life. Working around the clock, mostly as a single mother she loved and provided for her family. She was always there when we needed her. She had an incredible work ethic and integrity that she passed along to her children.

My Mother was a kind, generous and empathetic woman. She was a beautiful soul who knew the true meaning of love and giving. Mom was free spirited, open minded and accepting of all others. She was forgiving and patient and never held a grudge. She left an impact on anyone who knew her.

Mom was very into healthy living and mindfulness. She was an Aerobics instructor in her younger days and passed along health and fitness to her children and many others along the way. She very much loved animals and nature. Mom made a habit of always donating to animal and Veteran charities. Even while ill, Mom kept her hands and mind busy with puzzle books and drawing. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son William Nims Jr. of Hudson Falls, her grandchildren Megan Nims and William Nims III and her daughter Nichole Forney of Kerhonkson NY.

Funeral services will be held privately at the family's discretion.

Memorial contributions can be made in Antoinette's name to the local ASPCA or the wounded warriors project.
