Arthur E. Decker

Arthur E. Decker of Kerhonkson, NY, died Friday, February 5, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 66 years old. Arthur was born on August 3, 1943 in Ellenville, NY. He was the son of the late Rae Decker.

Mr. Decker worked for the Town of Wawarsing Highway Department for over 37 years. He enjoyed wood crafting, snowmobiling, bowling, camping, traveling and cars especially corvettes.

On April 2, 1968 Arthur married Onnolee Zupevec in Kerhonkson.

In addition to his wife Onnolee, Arthur is survived by their children; Colleen Carey McGinnis and her husband Kevin of Hawaii, Peter Carey of Kerhonkson and Shaun Carey of Hawaii, his brothers; Donald, Irvin, Leon and Douglas Decker all of Kerhonkson, his granddaughter; Katrina Carey, his mother-in-law Thelma Zupevec and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was predeceased by his grandparents Dan and Grace Decker, his siblings Pearly, Rae, Franceis, Janet, Pete, Roy, Mildred and Burton.
