Aslan Dishek of Accord, NY passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was 84 years old. Aslan was born on January 26, 1928 in Russia; he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hadchibek Dishek.
Aslan was very involved with the local Boy Scouts and Democratic organizations. He was the type of guy who could fix anything. He was very mechanically involved. Aslan was a tool and die maker and had retired from Channel Master in Ellenville.
Aslan is survived by his wife Lola (Muchla) Dishek whom he married on February 15, 1958 in Bayonne, NJ, their son David Dishek and his wife Janice of Virginia and their daughter-in-law Lisa Dishek of Stone Ridge, NY, their grandchildren Amanda, Robert, Kendall and Jordyn Dishek and their great-grandson Tanner Dorman. Aslan was recently predeceased by his son Stephen Dishek.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 25th at 10am at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY 12446. Burial will follow at Benton Bar Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Aslan's name to a charity of one's choice.
