Augusta Mae Quick

Augusta Mae Quick, 93, of Kerhonkson, NY died on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.  She was born on February 7, 1927 in Livingston Manor, NY, the daughter of William and Anna (Hitt) Simpson.

Augusta was a loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and she was there for them in so many ways, always supportive and encouraging. She will be sorely missed by them, her friends and all who knew her.

Augusta is survived by her son Gary Quick, her daughter-in-law, Dolores Marie, and her grandchildren; Jeremy (Connie) Quick, Garrett Quick and Monica Gambino. Her great grandchildren; Makalah, Isabella, Gage, Johnny and Alivia. And many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Jerry, Augusta was predeceased by her sons, Herman and Jerry Jr.

Augusta’s family and friends will honor and celebrate her life at a later date to be announced.

My grandma was the world to me Ill miss her so much there are so many great things I could say about her. She was a women that told you how she felt and did not hold much back. She was a strong women who had to be in control a lot like my wife they say you are attracted to the people u loved growing up. She was that grandma that a man tried to rob in shop rite parking lot but she didnt let that happen instead she fought back. When she lost grandpa she stayed strong she missed him everyday. She was a grandma you wanted behind you she gave me all she could threw life and always worried about me I wish I seen you more grandma I love you and you will always be a big part of my Heart I love you
