Barbara Ball Moynihan, a woman whose love shaped generations and whose spirit was unmistakably her own, passed away on July 11, 2026. She was 78 years old. Her life was defined by devotion to family and fierce loyalty to the people she loved.

Barbara is survived by her children, Dawn and Todd Van Kleeck, and Dave Moynihan, who carry forward her strength, humor, and compassion. She loved her grandchildren with unmatched intensity—Mia, Skyler, and Jessica—celebrating their triumphs, supporting their dreams, and filling their lives with unwavering encouragement. She adored them completely and delighted in every moment spent watching them grow. Her great‑grandchildren Ollie and Bobby, brought her incredible joy.

She is also survived by her brothers, their wives, and their families: Jim and Susan, Tom and Chris, and Rick and Laura; as well as her nieces, nephews, and many cousins, all of whom she deeply loved. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Ed and Joan Ball, whose memory she honored throughout her life.

Those who knew Barbara will remember that she was unapologetically true to herself—bold, honest, and wonderfully one of a kind. With Barbara, you always knew what she was thinking, and you always knew her heart was in the right place. Ultimately, she wanted the very best for the people she loved, and she showed that love in ways that were unmistakable and unforgettable.
