I offer my sincere condolences to the Schoonmaker and Highland families. Cathy and I met while working for the American Health Foundation in Valhalla, New York in the mid 1970s. I was a research lab technician and she worked in the animal facility. She was kind, gentle, beautiful and so very sweet. She had a smile and personality that would light up a room. I am saddened by her passing and I regret not having stayed in touch with her over the last 40 plus years. I am sure she now lights up the heavens as she once lit up our hearts on earth.
