Charles E. Jackson, Sr. “Chuck”, 51, of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Ellenville Regional Hospital. He was born in Kingston, NY on August 13, 1963.
Chuck had worked as a janitor for the Rondout Valley School District and most recently in the maintenance department at the Hudson Valley Resort. He had a passion for old cars and trucks.
On June 28, 1986 he married the former Christine Marie Leslie in Accord.
In addition to his wife, Chuck is survived by their sons; Charles Jackson Jr. and his fiancé Kate Gieseking and Scott Jackson, his grandsons; Johnathan Patrick and Scott Clifford Jackson, his mother-in-law, Joan VanLueven, his brothers; Edward, Jerry and Ronnie and many other extended family.
Chuck was predeceased by his mother Geraldine and his step father William Clapper.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 30th from 4-7pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson (626-3331.) A potluck gathering will be held immediately following.
