Charlotte Eleanor Perro

April 23, 1943 — December 16, 2020

Charlotte Eleanor Perro of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. She was 77 years old. Charlotte was born on April 23, 1943 in Buffalo, NY; she was the daughter of the late Charles Mortimer Lain Clark II and Ruth Claire (Overton) Clark.

At 77 years old, Charlotte could run circles around a 20-year-old with how productive and energetic she was. Her love for God and her family was evident in her daily activity. The most inspiring thing about Charlotte was how extravagantly she loved her family. Her greatest focus and joy was spending time with them and ensuring they were all ok. Plus, she loved her dachshund dogs and granddogs like her children, her most recent fur-baby being Remington. She served behind the scenes at Family Church for over 20 years, planning, cooking and serving meals. She also served with her granddaughter, Elizabeth, with the Thursday volunteers team preparing for church services. In addition, she co-led the Perfect Piece puzzle group...she loved doing puzzles. And golf was her passion!! It was astounding how easy she made it look to do everything she did. Charlotte will be missed by all who knew her.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Charlotte Eleanor Violette and her husband Paul of Wellington, Maine, James Miller and his wife Kim of Hudson, Florida, Dawn Miller and Julie Halverson of Minnesota, Deborah Tiger of Ellenville, NY, Michelle L. Dunham and her husband Roy of Kerhonkson, NY, Cheryl Smosarski and her husband Jerry of Wawarsing, NY and her fur baby Remmy; her grandchildren, Jennifer Marino and husband Frank, Kyle Miller and wife Katie, Allen Miller and wife Stephanie, Meagan Violette, Troy Violette and wife Maddy, Elizabeth Rose Warg and boyfriend Gabe, Jonathan Smosarski and wife Bridget, Heather Warg, and Rebecca-Lynn Dunham; her great grandchildren, Brantley, Avery and Paisley; her siblings, Frances Gooden and husband Robert of Toms River, NJ, and Dennis L. Clark and wife Julie of Florence, SC.

Charlotte was predeceased by her brothers, David Clark, Clarence Clark, and Danny Clark.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, December 20th from 2-4 at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30pm that afternoon at the funeral home.
