Chester Vincent Shultis III

Chester “Skip/Skippy” Vincent Shultis III of Accord, NY passed away in his sleep at his home on Monday June 24, 2024.  

Skip was born in Kingston, NY on November 08, 1950. He was the Son of the late Chester and Shirley Shultis. Skip was married to Mary Shultis for over 40 years.  

Skip stayed to himself. He loved his family, and friends. Skip loved riding motorcycles in his younger years. He enjoyed old westerns, John Wayne movies and Looney Tune cartoons to his last day. Skip found comfort and a new loving motivation in his grand kids and great grand kids. His eyes would light up and he couldn’t hide his smile when they came to visit.  

He is survived by his two daughters, Malinda Whittaker and her husband Fred, Vanessa Shultis; His son Brian Shultis and his wife Laura; His siblings John and Darin Shultis and his sister Patricia Kinch; Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  

In addition to his parents, Skip was predeceased by his wife Mary Shultis, brothers Terry and Ricky Shultis and his sister Gail Geiselhart.  

At Skip’s request, there will be no funeral services and his family will be respecting his wishes. Just as his family did for his wife Mary, Skip welcomed the idea of his family and friends coming together to celebrate his life and his entrance to heaven. The family will hold a gathering at a later date for anyone who would like to celebrate Skip, which will be communicated at a later time.
