Christopher Ebert -Gone to soon, May 29,2017, he passed peacefully at his home in West Walworth, NY, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and cherished friend. Chris attended RIT, studied electrical engineering and later focused on rehabbing and renting houses in Rochester, NY for over 30 years before retiring to the country-like setting of West Walworth, NY where he began building a 3 story addition solely by hand. He was always a student of meteorology and had a NYS weather expert Facebook page, providing forecasts from hundreds of miles away.
Never one to let his mind stay idle, he used his Engineering background to study the stock market. This self-taught world renowned Options trader, "Options Scientist", was generous with his knowledge and time. He co-authored a book "Show me your Options" and was guest speaker on a number of social media blogs. One of the best days of his life was pictured just outside the stock exchange in NYC. He will be greatly missed by his stock trading friends.
One of his great pride and joys was in becoming a Freemason and a Brother of Trumansburg Lodge #157, located in Trumansburg, NY. He proudly displayed the lodge's emblem on his car, in his home and even on coffee mugs.
Chris leaves behind his wife of 30+ years Anita, daughter Breeanna; parents Lucille and Milford Ebert (predeceased), brother Scott (Amber) Ebert and a large number of family and friends.
Visiting will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. A Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday June 3rd at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Whitfield Cemetery.
