Darlene Theresa Knapp

Darlene T. Knapp of Accord, NY, died Sunday, May 23, 2010. She was 49 years old. Darlene was born on February 15, 1961 in Livingston Manor, she was the daughter of Vernon Leroy and Barbara Jean Knapp.

Darlene was a hard worker all her life. She enjoyed poetry and wrote many poems of her own. She was a great mom, spending the majority of her time bonding with her children. Darlene will be missed.

Ms. Knapp is survived by her companion of thirty years, Gene Kalaschenkow, her children; Natasha Shultis, Timothy Kalaschenkow, Christopher Kalaschenkow, Matthew Kalaschenkow, Tammra Kalaschenkow and Brianna Kalaschenkow. Her grandchildren; John Wayne Shultis and Katie Mae Kalaschenkow and her brother, Vernon L. Knapp. Darlene was predeceased by her children; Gene and Jessie Kalaschenkow.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Friday, June 4th at 7pm at the Evangelical Fellowship Church, 420 Scarawan Road, Stone Ridge, NY.
