Donna Myra Winkler of Wurtsboro, NY passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020. She was 65 years old. Donna was born on June 22, 1955 in Portsmouth, VA and grew up in Wurtsboro Hills; she was the daughter of Henry and Mildred (Buller) Drzymala.
On December 23, 2000 Donna had married Kenneth Winkler in Spring Hill, FL. Kenneth had predeceased her in 2006. Donna graduated from Monticello High School and had worked as a Chamber Maid at the Brookside Hotel in Kerhonkson. She managed various retail stores over the years and also worked at the Schrade Knife Factory. She enjoyed puzzles, cards and board game nights with family. Donna earned her floral design certification and retired in 2003. Family was everything to Donna. She was happiest spending time with her children and (great) grandchildren.
Surviving are her children; Robert Gray and his wife Kathy of Fruitport, MI, Christine Sisson and her husband Kevin of Accord and Heather Conklin and her husband Wayne of Wurtsboro. Her grandchildren; Kirstin Gray (Mike Williams), Braeyanna Gray, Faith Gray, Amanda Roberts (Arik), Kaitlyn Sisson, Thomas Cable, Nicholas Sisson, Ashley Sisson, Tyler Winkler, Melissa Gibson (James), and Wayne Conklin Jr (Nicole). Her great grandchildren; Addison, Ackland and Auden Roberts, Sierra, Mariah and Liah Gibson, and Emma Conklin. Her brother Henry Drzymala and his wife Diane of St. Cloud, FL and her beloved furbaby Rosie. Also are brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Kenneth, Donna was predeceased by her sister Joanna Denise Wright.
Donna’s family and friends will honor and celebrate her life at the HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson, NY on Saturday, July 18th from 2-4 PM. A service will begin at 3:30 PM that evening.
