Dora May Watson

Dora May Watson, age 96, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Golden Hill Health Care Center, where she has resided since 2003.

Dora was born in Farmer City, IL. on April 23, 1912, the daughter of the late Cornelius H. and Mary F. Watson.

Dora owned and operated Dora May Beauty Salon in Maywood, NJ for a number of years. She was also a Practical Nurse who used her skills to care for some of her dear friends during their time of need. She lived in New Paltz for some years prior to entering Golden Hill.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence H. and Cornelius H. Watson.

Dora is survived by her sister Mary F. Swenson, nieces Mary May Schmidt, Kathleen V. Swenson, Barbara Longman and Judy Watson, nephews Ralph E. Swenson, Robert and David Watson, cousin Bettyanne Pannkuk, several great-nieces and nephews and a great grand niece Megan.
