Dr. Claire Warga Landsberg

Dr. Claire Warga Landsberg, 78, of Brooklyn, NY passed away on September 1, 2024 surrounded by her son and other loved ones In Marbletown, NY. Claire was born in Buchara, Uzbekistan to Gustaw Warga and Ray Warga on March 4, 1946. 

Claire was a New York State-licensed psychologist and New York Times best selling author. A beloved wife to the late Gerald S. Landsberg, she is survived by her son Joshua W. Landsberg, brother Harvey Varga and his three sons Yasha, Ilya, and Ari. 

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or the Kerhonkson Synagogue, PO Box 587, Kerhonkson, NY 12446 in Claire’s honor are appreciated.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, September 12th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a service immediately following at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42 nd St, Kerhonkson, NY 12446. Service by Rabbi Sally Shore-Wittenberg
