Edgar "Butch" Robinson

Edgar “Butch” Robinson of Kingston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. He was 70 years old. Butch was born on June 17, 1944 in Kingston; he was the son of the late Edna Robinson and Floyd Simmons.

Mr. Robinson had served in the United States Navy and was honorable discharged in 1965. He had worked in housekeeping at the Nevele for many years. He was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, barbequing and spending time with family and friends.

Butch is survived by his children, Christina Foote ad her husband Craig, Heather Robinson, Christopher Robinson and his wife Jessica, Stephanie Robinson and Cynthia Robinson; his brothers, Leroy, Barry and Wayne Simmons; his sister Carol Phillips and fourteen grandchildren.

Mr. Robinson was predeceased by his wife Mildred, his sister Sue Simmons and his brothers Bobby Robinson and Paul Simmons.

Visiting will be held on Monday, February 16th from 10am to 12 pm with a service beginning at 12 at HB Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Whitfield Cemetery.
