Ellen J. Quick

Ellen J. Quick, 90, of Accord, NY passed away peacefully at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation in Kingston on Sunday October 30, 2016. Ellen was born in Kerhonkson on November 18, 1925; she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Russell Gray Sr.

Ellen graduated from the Kerhonkson High School. She enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling to Florida with her late husband Alfred D. Quick who passed away in 1998. She sewed, knitted and was willing to help anyone who needed assistance.

Ellen is survived by her two sons, Ernest Quick and his wife Patricia of Kerhonkson and Gordon Quick and his wife Martha of Accord; four grandchildren, Patrick (Nikole) Quick of Kerhonkson, Dean (Tanya) Quick of Accord, Tammy (David) Manicone of Poughkeepsie and Lisa (Patrick) Flannery of Kerhonkson; seven great grandchildren who she adored dearly and her brother Russell Gray.

Ellen was predeceased by her sister Irene as well as her brothers Chester, Jacob and Vernon.

As per Ellen’s wishes services will be private.

Arrangements are under the guidance of Humiston Funeral Home, Inc., 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson.
