Emily M. Cincotta

Emily M. Cincotta, “Millie”, of Kerhonkson, died Tuesday November 4, 2014, at the Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 80 years old. Millie was the daughter of Pasquale and Pia (DAniello) Trevisone, born on October 28, 1934 in Brooklyn  NY .

On October 16, 1960 Millie had married Frank Cincotta in Brooklyn where they lived and where she was a Hairdresser before they moved to Kerhonkson. In her younger days Millie enjoyed swimming and taught her children and the neighborhood children how to swim. She loved bowling, ping pong, playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed knitting and reading. Millie was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Kerhonkson. She had worked as a Nursing Aid at the Rondout Valley Middle School for 17 years. Millie was the sweetest person you could have met. She had an infectious personality and a smile that lit up a room. She never judged anyone and was full of life. Her door was always open and her house was never too small. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, Frank, she is survived by her two daughters; Laura Decker and her husband Wayne, and Roseann Cincotta, all of Kerhonkson and the proud grandmother of; Danielle, Alexandra and Frank.

Visiting will be held on Friday, November 7th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 8th at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Whitfield Cemetery, Accord.
