My deepest sympathies go out to you. I lost my son Brandon Martin to brain cancer at age 16. He was also a RVHS student. We were so lucky to be loved by that community. I did not know Erica, but can empathize with the emotional rollercoaster that lies ahead. Laugh, cry and scream...don't let the world dictate how and for what length of time you need to heal. My heart breaks for your loss.

Our sincerest condolences. Erica was a brave and courageous girl, taken too soon. She and Rian were class mates, and she had attended Rian's campout/b-day parties and was always a joy to be near. There are only tears when a child dies, there are no words, only goodbyes. We are so very sad for the loss of your beautiful daughter. Harry and Kathy Worden and Family

My thoughts are extended to the Bell family, as well as all of Erica's friends, classmates, and teammates. She was an incredible inspiration to all, whether they had the opportunity to know her personally or not. Her memory will continue on in those around us, and her legacy will be one not soon forgotten. The best we can do, is what she would have done- stay positive and look to what the future has in store.
