Filippo Faso

Filippo Faso of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Kingston Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 68 years old. Filippo was born on April 1, 1950 in Sicily, Italy; he was the son of Antonino and Giuseppina (Passafiume) Faso.

Filippo attended DonOrione College of Auto Engineering in Palermo, Italy. He owned Filippo Auto Imports in Kerhonkson where he offered his expertise as an auto mechanic for over 45 years. Filippo was a member of the Sons of Italy, the Shawangunk Fish and Game Association and the Kerhonkson-Accord Chamber of Commerce.

Filippo is survived by his loving wife Giacoma Mancuso Faso whom he married in Sicily, Italy; their son, Antonino Faso and his wife Tersa; grandchildren, Antonino and Adriana; Janine and David Faso, sister Sebastiana Faso, nieces and nephews, Pinamaria Faso.

Visiting will be held on Sunday, July 15th from 1 - 4 PM and 6 - 9 PM at the H. B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson, NY.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM, St. Mary and St. Andrew Church, 137 S. Main Street, Ellenville.
