Frank Barnwell 33, born November 1, 1978 (All Saints Day) was welcomed into Heavens gates on June 24, 2012.
Survived by his mother Anne Markle, father Frank Barnwell, stepfather James Markle, sister Jessica Barnwell, nephew Jordan Gwynn, son Frank Barnwell, Jr. and daughter Alexus Barnwell as well as many friends whom he truly cherished.
Frankie was born and grew up in Ulster County. He graduated a year early from Rondout Valley High School in 1996. He continued on to become a master pizza dough maker, managing Napolis Pizzaria in New Paltz and later on to Picnic Pizza. Frankie had a strong connection with nature and was passionate about sharing all of his knowledge. Frankie was a caring, selfless, free spirited man who touched the lives of everyone he knew. He was loved and respected by many and will forever be with us.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 29th from 11:30am to 2:30pm followed by a eulogy given by his sister and close friends at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Pine Bush Cemetery followed by a scattering of his ashes in the mountains.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Frankie's name to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-Hudson Valley New York Chapter, P.O. Box 266, Lagrangeville, NY 12540.
