Frank Joseph Pugliese

Frank J. Pugliese of Kripplebush, NY, died Sunday, November 11, 2012. He was 82 years old. Mr. Pugliese was born on March 28, 1930 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Frank and Stella (Cena) Pugliese.

On June 27, 1954 Frank had married Joan Van Vliet in Ellenville. Together they have lived in Kripplebush for the last 37 years. He was analyst for IBM and did a lot of traveling for them before his retirement. He was a communicant of Our Lady's Chapel in High Falls and a Life Member of the Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Company. For many years Frank had been a member of the Rondout Valley Golf Club. He had a real passion for playing golf and also enjoyed Mets games, and doing some hunting and fishing.

Mr. Pugliese is survived by his loving wife Joan. His daughter, Lisa Pugliese-Dortch and her husband Eric of Los Angeles, CA. His son, Frank M. Pugliese and his wife Sawalee of Paoli, PA. His grandchildren, Luke Dortch, Terri and Tracey Pugliese. And his sister, Vita Marie Pittelli of Kerhonkson. Frank was predeceased by his twin brother Vincent Pugliese. And a special mention to Maggie, a little dog who added such happiness to the last four years of his life.

Visiting will be held Wednesday, November 14th from 6-8pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. Visiting will continue on Thursday the 15th from 9-11am and a prayer service is scheduled for 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank's name to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Road, Kingston, NY 12401 &/or to the Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Company, 519 Pine Bush Road, Stone Ridge, NY 12484.
