George Panchyshyn

George Stephen Panchyshyn of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Health Alliance Hospital, Kingston. He was 73 years old. George was born on October 1, 1950, in the Bronx, NY; he was the son of the late John and Helen Panchyshyn.

George is survived by his children, Eva Panchyshyn, Larysa Panchyshyn, Natalie Ruggiero and Nicholas Panchyshyn; his sister, Sonia Buszwatiuk: his grandchildren, Logan, Andrew and Nikolas; niece, Sophia Buszwatiuk and nephew, Stefan Buszwatiuk and his significant other, Patricia Wooten.

He was a veteran of the US AirForce, and had worked as a computer technician. After retirement he enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle and tinkering with cars and computers.

Visiting hours will be held at Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson on Saturday, January 27th from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm with the Panakhyda immediately following. Burial will be in Pine Bush Cemetery,
Kerhonkson.
