Harold "Gene" Farquhar was one of the most kind people I ever had the pleasure and honor of knowing. I am deeply saddened by his sudden passing. I will truly miss seeing him on campus. May our Good Lord provide strength and comfort to his family during this most difficult time. May his spirit forever shine in the hearts of those who love him. RIP my friend.

Dear Anita- So many years have passed and my mother and I were trying to locate you and heard of your recent sudden loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. I will always remember your family farm as a little piece of heaven and both you and Your husband were so kind to us all during the pregnancy then birth of our filly many years ago. Though our family had lost touch I never forgot you all and hope at some point we are able to connect again. I manage a stable and horses are still a very large part of my life and I loved that we shared that passion. Again, we are all so sorry for your loss. Love jen

I had the privilege of working with Gene the past few years. Gene was a kind, caring and possessed a great sense of humor. Gene also was an intelligent man and showed a great range of interests. I pray his family finds comfort in the knowledge that he was a special person to many. I am very fortunate to have called him my friend. #57
