Helen C. Smith

Helen C. Smith of Accord, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 82. Helen was born on March 25, 1927 in Bronx, the daughter of the late Oscar and Elsie (Gass) Conorman. 

On April 1, 1950 Helen had married Robert L. Smith in Newburgh. Mr. Smith had died on February 10, 2002.

Mrs. Smith had lived in Walden before moving to Accord where she has lived for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Federated Church of Kerhonkson, Women’s Christian Society and Ladies Sewing Group.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Susan Kozloski and her husband Joseph of Catskill; two sons, Robert L. Smith Jr. and his wife Christine, and David Smith and his wife Tamara, all of Accord; three grandchildren, Marcilene Smith, David Smith Jr. and Michael Smith; and her sister, Jeanette Scofield of Wallkill.
