Hildegard Cymbal

Hildegard Cymbal, of Napanoch, NY, passed away on August 1, 2018 at the age of 86. Hildegard was born on August 4, 1931 the daughter of the late Adolf and Hertha (Kott) Moeller.

She was born in Hamburg, Germany and immigrated to the United States after World War II. She met Ivan Cymbal in Ellenville and got married in September 1956. Ivan passed away in March 1985. Hildegard later moved to Napanoch where she was a factory worker with Imperial Schrade from January 4, 1978 until her retirement on August 2, 1996. She so loved her family and will be deeply missed by all.

Hildegard is survived by her son; Michael Cymbal and his wife Patricia of Kerhonkson; her grandchildren, Christopher Cymbal and his wife Alyssa, and Amanda Cymbal; and great granddaughter, Violet Cymbal.

There will be no visitation. A cremation service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Hildegard’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
