Hubert C. "Spud" Roberts

Hubert C. “Spud” Roberts, 84, of Stuart, FL. passed away peacefully October 14th, 2009 at Martin Nursing & Restorative Care Center, in Stuart.

Born in Napanoch, New York he has resided in Pinelake Gardens for the past 19 years moving tot his area from Ellenville, New York. 

Prior to retiring Hubert was a Main Frame Installer with I.B.M. in Kingston, New York for over 30 years.

Hubert was U.S. Army veteran and a member of B.P.O.E. #1870 Stuart/Jensen Beach & was a former Volunteer Firefighter in Kerhonkson, New York.

In addition to his wife Phyllis B. Roberts of Stuart, Hubert is survived by his 3 sons, Kenneth Roberts of Port St. Lucie, Fl ,Eric Bors-Koefoed of Sarasota, FL., and Dane Paul Bors-Koefoed of Clifton Springs, New York, his daughter, Karen Coddington of Kingston, NY, his 2 sisters, Eleanor Terbush of Ellenville, NY, Shirley Sears of Homestead, FL., 7 grandchildren and 5 great-granchildren.

Hubert was predeceased by his first wife Doris.
