Jaroslaw Lesiw

Jaroslaw Lesiw of Kerhonkson, NY died Tuesday, May 22, 2018. He was 95. Jaroslaw was born on May 17, 1923 in Striyj, Ukraine, the son of Jacob and Maria (Maziak) Lesiw.

Jaroslaw had lived in Kerhonkson since 1968. He was a member and past trustee of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church. He had worked as a tool & die maker at Rotron (EG&G) in Shokan, NY. In 2013 Jaroslaw lost his loving wife of 67 years, Irena.

Jaroslaw is survived by his daughter, Maria Cade of Kerhonkson. His grandson, Andrij Cade and his wife Kristine, and his great grandchildren; Myron and Olya. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his son-in-law Robert Cade and his brothers and sisters.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 27th from 5-7pm at HB Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The Panakhyda will begin at 6pm that evening. The Divine Liturgy will be Monday, May 28th 9:30am at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
