I'm glad your in a better place. You have been an amazing freind and mentor. I would not be where I am today if you didn't push me to move to California. I am eternally grateful for you and Holly. Peace to all. Much respect. Jennifer Patterson

Though I did not know John as well in his personal life as many others have, working with John on and off since the 80's has always been a pleasure. When it came to steel and runninga bone yard John had no equal. John took a job no one else really wanted, made it his own, and did it better than anyone has.John goes ahead of us to meet his maker as a honest, caring, and hardworking man. Rest assured GOD has received another good soul to help look after us all.

John was a good friend. Despite his gruff exterior, he was always polite and thoughtful with me. As production manager at Ike Hall for a few years, I was happiest back stage, watching John and the rest of the 311 guys pull together three trucks of equipment, props, scenery and make it into a show. He will be missed by many, certainly by me.
