John Arthur Nadratowski

John Arthur Nadratowski of Kerhonkson, NY passed away suddenly on January 7, 2016. He was 81 years old. John was born on March 17, 1934 in Jersey City; he was the son of Theodore and Amelia (Scanagatta) Nadratowski.

John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. John was the engineer in charge for NYS Office of General Services and was also a jack of all trades. He enjoyed playing chess and loved his family deeply.

John is survived by his loving wife Anna (Bifano) Nadratowski; their children, Mary Nadratowski of NJ, Ted Nadratowski and his wife Pat of Highland, John Nadratowski and his wife Cheryl of NJ and Ann Hart and her fiancé Sean Alger of Kingston; his brother Robert Nadratowski and his wife Joan of PA; his sister Lois Howard and her husband Jack of NJ; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

John was predeceased by his brother Theodore Nadratowski.

The family will be receiving friends from 4-7pm on Sunday, January 10th at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St. Kerhonkson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 11th at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kerhonkson. Cremation will take place at the convenience of the family.
