Kathy Lee Worden

Kathy Everett Worden of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Kingston Hospital. She was 50 years old. Kathy was born on January 6, 1967 in Kingston to Robbert and Rebecca (Ercig) Everett, Sr.

 

On September 30, 1989 Kathy had married Harry Worden Jr. at the home of Jean Terwilliger in Stone Ridge. Kathy had lived in Kerhonkson for 23 years. She grew up in Stone Ridge and had studied business at Ulster Boces. She was an Administrative Assistant with Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz and recently with Green Cross in Gardiner. She was a member and supporter of PFLAG.

 

Besides her husband Harry and her father Robbert, Kathy is survived by her children; Rocky, Michael, Gregg, Angelo and Candice of Ellenville, and Rian and Tucker of Kerhonkson and Heather of Catskill. Her daughters-in-law; Danielle, Justine and Nell. Her grandchildren; A’ryanna, Anthony, Gage, Layla, Payton, Belle, Sophia, Aria and Jinx. Her brother Rob Everett and his girlfriend Linda Cherny and sister Lori Moxham. Nieces and nephews; Thomas Sickler, Angel Everett, Robbie Everett, Amber Barringer, Tiffany Barringer, Aaliyah Barringer, Easton Barringer, Ella Casal, William Moxham Jr. and Devin Decker. Her best friend of 45 years, Jaymee Barringer, and many other friends and family who loved and cared for her. Kathy was described as a human sunflower who loved and cared for everyone she met. She inspired many and will be deeply missed.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.

 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Kathy’s memory to PFLAG of Kingston or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
