Lila May Wright

Lila May Wright of Kerhonkson, NY died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at her home. She was 54. Lila was born on August 12, 1955 in Monticello, NY, the daughter of the late Otis and Gladys Worden, Sr.

Mrs. Wright had worked at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY as a Room Attendant for over 16 years. She loved taking pictures of the changing seasons and the wildlife and would never pass up a photo opportunity. Lila also enjoyed collecting colored glass bottles and butterflies.

She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her children; Robert Worden and his wife Patricia of Middletown, Thomas Bohm, Jr. of Port Jervis, Sharon Terry and her husband Thomas of Modena, Edward Wright and his wife Sacha of Kerhonkson and James Mickle of Kerhonkson, her companion; Anthony Mickle of Kingston, her sisters; Lila McAliece of Ellenville and Joyce Jones of PA, her brothers; Robert Worden of Kingston and Frank Worden of Middletown, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lila was predeceased by her brothers Otis “Joe” Worden, Jr. and Karl Worden.
