Lisa M. Tears of Napanoch passed away on July 22 in Mt. Pleasant, NY. She was 66 years old.

Lisa was born in Kingston on August 10, 1959 to Kenneth and Mary (Buytkins) Cook. She married the love of her life, Michael Tears, on April17, 1985. Lisa was employed by the New York State Department of Corrections and worked for many years as a secretary. She loved going camping with Michael and their dogs. 

Lisa was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Cook, Sr.; and brother, Kenneth Cook, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Tears and their dog, Lexi; mother, Mary Cook; sister-in-law, Pat Cook; niece, Lynden and her boyfriend, Eric; nephew, Matthew; and many other cousins, family members, and friends.

Services for Lisa will be private, at the convenience of the family.
