Mabel M. Garritt

Mabel M. Garritt of Ellenville, NY passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Westchester Medical Center. She was 70 years old. Mabel was born on June 8, 1940 in Cragsmoor, NY, she was the daughter of the late W. Harold and Naomi C. (Seiple) Garritt.

Mabel was a loyal parishioner of the Federated Church of Kerhonkson, a member of the Women’s Christian Society and the Quilters Club.

She had worked as a Home Health Aid in Kingston. Following her retirement Mabel continued to be a nurturer even through her own pain and illnesses.  

She is survived by her sister Janet McVey, her brother Bruce W. Garritt and several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Mabel was predeceased by her half sister Grace Carlew and her beloved pets.
