Marilyn J. Robinson of Kerhonkson, NY, died Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Robinson was born on May 28, 1924 in Kingston, NY. She was the daughter of the late Maynard and Sara (Smith) DeWitt.

 

Marilyn had been a lifelong resident of the area. She had been a member of the Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad and the Federated Church of Kerhonkson. For many years she was a school bus driver and many years ago had run the local yarn store in Kerhonkson.

 

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Harry B. Robinson, Sr. She is survived by her children; Roxanna Robinson of Albany, NY, Edward Robinson of Crown Point, NY and Harry Robinson Jr. of Kerhonkson, NY. Three grandchildren; Keith, Christopher and Jeffrey, and two great grandchildren; Marshall and Bayne. Marilyn was also predeceased by her daughter Sara Robinson.

 

Visiting will be held Monday, September 16th from 5-7pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday the 17th at 10am at Palentown Cemetery, Kerhonkson.

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad, PO Box 67, Kerhonkson, New York 12446.
