I had known him for a while a though we were not in contact as much as we would have liked. The pain is still great. Mike was one of the nicest guys I ever met would give you the shirt off his back. He was always there for me even when his life was a wreck, always putting others 1st. His ability to be a great father and friend was amazing. I regret the time not spent in the recent past, but at least we were able to iron out our differences. Thanks Mike Halstead for coming into my life and making my world a better place. I will miss your smile, those crazy logger boots you wore with everything, and most of all you.
