Mimi Haley

Mimi L. Haley of Millis died on July 12, 2014 at the Metro West Hospital in Natick. She was born August 17, 1924 (she was just 36 days short of her 90th birthday). Mimi is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Haley where they resided in Millis, MA for 35 years. She is also survived by her two daughters, Shelley Brugman and Myra Sussman and three step children, William Haley, Stephan Haley and Kathy Haley Gero. Mimi has seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mimi was an avid reader and volunteered at the Brown Elementary School in Millis and was a member of the Temple, Congregation Ael Chunon in Millis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mimi's name to: Perkins Trust, Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or Millis Public Library, 961 Main Street, Millis, MA 02054. A private burial will be held in Kerhonkson, New York where Mimi lived before moving to Massachusetts in the mid 1970s.
