Nicholas W. Carelli, age 73, of Kerhonkson, New York, passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, following a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Nicholas was born in Dobbs Ferry, New York, in 1952. He went on to build a remarkable life defined by dedication to his family and his professional calling.

A Life of Integrity and Service

Nicholas was a deeply important and well-loved member of the community, known for his warm personality and quiet strength.

He dedicated 40 years to a distinguished career in real estate. Throughout those decades, he was renowned for his unwavering honesty and integrity—qualities that earned him the trust and respect of everyone he met. He took great pride in helping countless individuals and families navigate the daunting process of buying their first home, leaving a legacy of security and happiness in the lives he touched.

Beyond his professional success, Nicholas was a devoted family man and a talented musician. His passion for music was a source of joy for his family, and his greatest source of pride was his wife and sons...The family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers to help with funeral expenses.

A graveside service will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Stone Ridge on Thursday, October 23 at 11 AM.
