Norwood Randall DePuy

Norwood Randall DePuy, "Randy" a lifelong resident of Wawarsing, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Kingston City Hospital. He was 62 years old. Randy was born on September 19, 1949 in Greene, NY; he was the son of the late Floyd and Leona (Klugh) DePuy.
Mr. Depuy served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his Honorable Discharge Randy worked as a Correctional Officer at the Eastern Correction Facility in Napanoch.
On May 25, 1991 he married Kathleen McCombs in Wawarsing.
In addition to his wife at home Randy is survived by his children Thomas DePuy and his wife Allie of Ft. Lee, NJ, Julia Pflug of IN, Michelle Lopez of Kingston and Stacy Bennett of Ellenville, His brothers Floyd, George, Kevin Depuy and Douglas Pomerantz, his sisters Rowena Blauvelt, Sheri McGlynn and Diana Niosi, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was predeceased by his brother William DePuy.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1st from 1-4pm at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY 12446.
