On Friday, May 14th, 2021, Olga Milan passed away. A neighbor and friend of Kerhonkson since 1974.
An immigrant from Ukraine, Olga and her late husband Walter came to the United States in 1947 with their eldest son, Gerald. Olga and Walter settled in New York City where they welcomed their second son, Bob. They were proud owners of several businesses in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights. Olga and Walter left New York City in 1974 to make their home in Kerhonkson where Olga worked at Schrade Knife Factory until her retirement. Olga was a resident of St. Joseph’s Adult Care from 2017 to 2021.
Olga is survived by her youngest son and daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
Visiting will be from 10:30-11:30am on Tuesday, May 18th followed by the funeral mass at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Hamptonburgh. Interment will be in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
