Paulette Marks, of Wawarsing, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on July 18, 2026. She was 79 years old.

Born November 16, 1946 in the Bronx, New York, Paulette was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Betty Catino.

On December 18, 1965, Paulette married the love of her life, Guy Marks. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their home was the heart of countless family gatherings and holiday celebrations, where family and friends always felt welcome. Paulette was especially known for hosting memorable meals and baking her beloved homemade pies, creating traditions that will be treasured for generations. She and Guy also shared a special love for their beloved beagles, who were cherished members of their family and brought them years of companionship and joy. Though Guy's passing left a void in Paulette's heart that was never truly filled, her family finds comfort in knowing they have now been reunited.

For many years, Paulette owned and operated a Family Care Home in Ellenville, where she dedicated herself to caring for others with compassion, kindness, and selflessness. She was known for her generous spirit and unwavering commitment to her community.

A once devoted member of St. Mary's and St. Andrew's Church, Paulette generously gave her time by organizing fundraisers, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, participating in Columbiette, and belonging to the Rosary Society. She also enjoyed more than 35 years as a member of the "Monday Night Mishaps" bowling league, as well as a Wednesday morning bowling league. She treasured the lifelong friendships she shared with the Purple Passion Roses of the Red Hat Society.

Above all else, Paulette's greatest joy was her family. She loved being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating lasting memories with them. The love she gave will remain her greatest legacy, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Paulette is survived by her loving daughters, Alisa Fries and her husband, Brian; Deanna Vaughan and her husband, James; and Ginger Stickles and her husband, Stephen.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Brian Fries; Breanne Fries; Danielle McKay and her husband, Christopher; Alayna Stickles; Stephen Stickles; and Morgan Vaughan.

She is further survived by her foster sister, Marguerite Vedder, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Guy, Paulette was predeceased by her siblings, Peter Catino, Nina Beavers, and Eleanor Blanschan.

Her warmth, generosity, and unconditional love for her family created a home where everyone felt welcome. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Humiston Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22 from 10-11 AM. A funeral home service officiated by Fr. Ivan Kaszczak will begin at 11 AM, followed by interment at Fantinekill Cemetery.
