Peter N. Rybak
Peter N. Rybak of Kerhonkson, NY, died June 29, 2010 at Kingston Hospital. He was 57 years old. Peter was born on July 30, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of Wasyl and Anita (Eppert) Rybak.
Peter was a retired Sergeant from the Department of Corrections. He currently was a Bus Driver for Rolling V Bus Company and was Owner and Operator of Rybak Construction. Peter loved construction work and getting his hands dirty. He enjoyed hunting and some might be surprised by his gift of singing, Peter was a tenor and had a beautiful voice. He had a smile that would light up the room.
Peter is survived by his wife of six years, Mary (Gundberg) Rybak of Kerhonkson, his six children; Kirstie Hollis and her husband Michael of Florida, Peter William Rybak of North Carolina, Kelly Sue Rybak of California, Meredith McKenna-Smith and her husband Kurt of Napanoch, Shannon McKenna-Schmidt and her husband Brian of Hoboken, NJ, and Grant McKenna of New Zealand. His mother Anita Rybak, his grandchildren; David, Alexandra, Ariel, Austin, Elise, Alex, Alexa, Gary and Morgan. His brother Bill Rybak of Stone Ridge and his sisters, Lorraine Bowers and her husband Jason of Stone Ridge and Christine Fox and her husband Brian of Stone Ridge. His nephew Jason and his nieces, Kasey, Emily and Abigail. Uncles Nick and George Rybak of New Jersey and his Aunt Hildegard Apelles of Pine Bush. He was predeceased by his father Wasyl Rybak.

I love my dad very much! And my heart is hurting deeply. I wish I could have went to my dad's funeral, but I didn't have the financial means to do so. My father will always be in my heart. And my father did not have six children he only had 3, Kirstie, Peter, and Kelly. Those were his kids!!!!!

i had the pleasure of growing with petey... we were kids and little kids and then high school. i remember petey as a great friend, crazy at times but all it fun. i did in trouble with petey as a kid for shooting out his neighbors glass mirror ball. we had to pay for it... i remember his laugh and that great smile. the last time i really remember him was when he song Hey Jude at the garage in our hometown of stone ridge new york. adios, kiddo. catch ya on the other side. love you, johnny
