Rebecca Marko

On August 16, 1946 Rebecca married Arnold Marko in New York City. They moved to Kerhonkson in 1971 where they started Arnold Marko Meats. Rebecca helped with the day-to-day operations of the family business until Arnold’s death in 1983. She eventually retired to Lake Worth, FL where she remained for 22 years. While there she learned counted cross stitching. This became a relaxing pastime for her which grew into a great passion.

The family will be receiving friends at 12: 00 noon on Monday, February 12th  with a funeral service beginning  at 1:00PM at Humiston Funeral Home Inc., 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY.  Burial will follow in the Kerhonkson Synagogue Cemetery, Boice Mill, Rd., Kerhonkson. All are welcome.

My sincere condolences to the Marko family. Losing your mother is possibly the most painful time in your life. My memories go way back to early Kerhonkson and hanging out by the Marko home with Mindy and Monica. Time marches on.
