Reginald A. Sutter

Reginald A. (Sonny) Sutter, Sr. of Alligerville, NY passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Kingston Health Alliance Hospital.

Born June 17, 1937 in Bangor, Maine; he was the son of Edward Elias and Margaret (Farley) Suitter.

Sonny worked for 38 years for the Town of Rochester Highway Dept. as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Upon retirement, he then enjoyed landscaping and his little dachshund Rambo.

Sonny is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Janet Christiana Sutter; three children, Lori-Lee Bush and her husband John of Columbia, KY, Reginald Jr. and his wife Darlene of Accord, NY and Kimberly Sutter and her partner Billy of Accord, NY. Also his granddaughter, the “apple of his eye”, Sierra Tyler.

In addition to his parents, Sonny was predeceased by his brother, Richard and sister, Ann.

Special thanks to the staff at the Kingston Dialysis Center for their care and compassion and always “being there” for him.

Services for Sonny will be private. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the guidance of H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson, NY.
