Robert Fred Krom

Robert Fred Krom of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on November 21, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was 61 years old. He was the son of Fred Krom and Amy Edwards Krom of Accord, NY. He was born on August 31, 1954 in Ellenville, NY.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Helen Grataski Krom, his children Fred Krom and his wife Faith of Kerhonkson, and his daughter Debbie Drake of West Hurley. He has two grandsons, Riley Drake and Brycen Krom, who he loved to spend time with and adored very much. Fred is also survived by his three sisters, Barbara Kelly, Gloria Greere and Beverly Smith.

Fred was an excellent diesel mechanic for many years and had a passion for working on cars and hot rods. He could fix anything. He loved going to car shows, as well as going to watch his grandson race go carts.  He was an avid hunter and looked forward to the hunting season every year.

He was a very caring man and would always lend a helping hand to family and friends. He was a very dependable and remarkable man who was truly loved by many. Fred was a devoted husband, amazing father and truly was a wonderful man. He will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.

Funeral services are private and at the discretion of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson.
