Robert F. Lamberti

Robert F. Lamberti, of Kerhonkson, NY, formerly Queens and Long Island, fondly known to many as “Bob” and “Bobbo”, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Hospital surrounded by his loving children. He was 72 years old. Bob was born on September 8, 1945 in Queens, NY; he was the son of the late Mario and Josephine (LaColla) Lamberti and the recent widower of Kathleen Lamberti.


Bob was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He married Kathleen (Katulka) Lamberti on November 11, 1978 in Long Island. Bob was an auto damage appraiser and had owned and operated RF Lamberti Appraisers in Kerhonkson for many years. He was a proud member of the NRA and was a member of the Rondout Valley Rod and Gun Club. Bob enjoyed hunting and in his earlier years was a competitive racquet ball player.


In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was predeceased by his brother Donald and his sister Eleanor.


He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Brian Lamberti of Greenville, SC, Kelly O’Connor (Chris) of Kerhonkson, Erica Reilly (Kyle) of Kingston and Margaret Hague (Casey) of McKinleyville, CA; four grandchildren, Draven and Nieko Lamberti,  Brayden Reilly and Henry Hague.


Visiting will be held on Wednesday, February 28th from 3-5 PM. A celebration of his life with military honors will immediately follow at Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson. Cremation will be private.
