Roland F. VanDermark

Roland F. VanDermark of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Ellenville Regional Hospital. He was 88 years old. Roland was born on April 28, 1929 in Ellenville, NY; he was the son of the late Rancler and Ruth (Krom) VanDermark.

Roland was a veteran of the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1953. He was a truck driver most of his career, but more recently had worked as an auto body technician. Roland married Arlene (Ferraro) VanDemark on February 24, 1954.

In addition to his wife, Roland is survived by their daughter Karen Brower; four grandchildren, Joshua Brower, Heather Weber, Zachery DuMond and Amanda DuMond and four great grandchildren, Joshua Brower, Jacen Brower, Shelby Weber and Julieanna DuMond.

Roland was predeceased by his daughter Cindy Meinacke.

A graveside service with ashes burial and military honors will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 3:00pm at Pine Bush Cemetery.
 
Arrangements are under the guidance of Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson.
